CAUTION
The alarm siren is very loud. For your safety, never place
the unit close to your ears or let it sound for long lengths
of time.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
• Use only new batteries of the required size and
recommended type.
• Do not mix old and new batteries, different types of
batteries (standard, alkaline, or rechargeable), or
rechargeable batteries of different capacities.
• Be sure to follow the correct polarity when installing the
batteries as indicated in the battery compartment.
• If the device is not to be used for a long period of time,
remove the batteries to prevent damage or injury from
possible battery leakage.
• Do not try to recharge batteries not intended to be
recharged, they can overheat and rupture.
• Dispose of old batteries promptly and properly. Do not
burn or bury them.
• Always remove old or weak batteries. Batteries can leak
chemicals that can destroy electronic parts. (Follow
battery manufacturer’s directions).
