Replacement of UV-lamps and starters
in the radiation segments

Open the acrylic disk frame, which is held with
magnetic locks on the left inside, by pivoting the frame
to the right side.
The UV low pressure lamps are turned 90° at the head
and foot end and are removed towards the front.
Notice when installing the new lamps that the contact
pins at the lamp ends are correctly located in the so-
cket.
The starters are located in the lower area of the
respective lamps and are removed and newly installed
by 90° turns in their sockets.
Exchange of the metal halogen lamps in
the intensive tanner segments
Here the acrylic disk frame must be pivoted out
as already described.
Fold out the door unit with the filter disk.
Open the bolt lock on the left side with the enclosed
key.
You now have direct access to the metal halogen lamps
(400 W) in the center of the reflectors.
Please observe:
When installing and removing the metal halogen
lamps the glass bulb may not be touched. Use gloves,
cloth or similar.
If the glass bulb is accidentally touched, it must be
cleaned with pure or ethyl alcohol.
For changing touch the bulb at the outside flat end and
pull out of the socket (Fig 67).
Always let the lamp cool down first!
Danger of burns!
When inserting the new bulbs, please note that the
contact pins have to be in the right position before the
bulb is pressed into the socket.
