Operation Manual

With a box or fixed spanner (wrench) with which you
grasp the lug nuts of lugs (M8), you can change the
tension of the tension springs.
Turning toward the right results in an increase; turning
toward the left results in a reduction of the spring tension.
Once the spring tension has been optimally adjusted,
the face panel is re-installed.
Please note: Operation of the system without a
properly installed face panel must be avoided.

Replacement of the filter mats
The air siphoned into the canopy unit and the base is
drawn through filter mats in the air intake area. These
mats should be replaced as needed when they have
become excessively soiled.
To replace filter mats in the canopy unit, the acrylic plate
must be swung down as described and set down on
the bench. The filter mat, which lies on the inner side of
the front chassis member and is fastened to an adhesive
surface, is then pulled from this adhesive surface.
After the new filter mat has been pressed onto the
adhesive surface, the acrylic plate of the canopy must
be locked into place.
When this has been done, the filter mat in the intake
opening is pushed towards the inside.
The filter mats located on the sides in the bench pan
are replaced after the disassembly of the acrylic plate
of the bench (see previous description). These filter
mats are also held in place by the adhesive surfaces
located on the inner sides.
An additional air intake area for the cooling of the ballast
units as well as of the control unit is located in the base
panel below the bench.
To replace the filter mat, first disassemble the base panel
as described in the previous section.
The threaded fasteners for the front housing plate at the
foot-end sections are located behind the base panel.
Unscrew these on both sides. Finally pull the housing out
of the supporting groove in the front bench chassis member.
