Install, finally, the inside hose connecting flange to the
cover (4 threaded fasteners Ø 4.2).
On the outside, the side cover is then placed onto the
body cooler frame with the air channel and bolted from
the inside (4 threaded fasteners Ø 4.2).
Via the air channel, the cool air from the air conditioning
unit is guided directly to the air intake side of the body
cooler.
From the inside, the smaller cover is fastened with two
threaded fasteners Ø 4.2 x 9.5 to the rear side of the air
channel.
Before the air conditioning unit is pushed below the
bench at the foot end, the cool air hose (Ø 100 mm)
must be installed between the air conditioning unit and
the connecting flange to the side cover.
Push the hose onto the corresponding connecting flange
and fasten it with the hose clamps provided.
As a last step, plug the connecting terminal of the air
conditioning unit into the corresponding socket of the
control unit on the electrical plug-in module and then
push the air conditioning unit under the bench.
Cover the base with the base cover before you re-start
the system.
Filter mat replacement in the
air-conditioning unit
In addition to the filter mats in the canopy unit and base,
it is necessary to clean the dust filter screen in the air
intake area of the air conditioning unit from time to time
depending on degree of soiling.
To do so, disassemble the base cover as described
and pull the air conditioning unit under the bench
forward.
Open the cover over the filter unit and pull the dust filter
screen upward and out.
The filter can be cleaned by vacuuming or, in case of
excessive soiling, washed in lukewarm water (40°C).
Any moisture left on the unit must be thoroughly shaken
free before the filter is re-installed using the same
procedure in reverse.
Supplementary body cooler at the head
end
In addition to the standard body cooler at the foot end of
the system, it is possible to install a second body cooler
on the side cover at the head end.
First, disassemble the base cover as described and
remove the stoppers from the mounting holes in the
side cover.
