Operating instructions
The tanning system is operated via the console
integrated into the rear canopy area.

The individual features of the console are listed in the
preceding illustration.
Feature description:
re 1: This rocker turns the standard body cooler on
the foot end on or off.
re 2: As optional equipment, a supplementary body
cooler for the head end is available. If this is
installed (see section "Optional equipment"), it
is turned on and off using the rocker switch.
re 3: With this rocker switch all facial tanners are
turned on or off, regardless of whether the
system is equipped with 3 x 400 W or 6 x 400 W
high pressure lamps (see technical
specifications).
re 4: The display is activated with the start-up of the
system and shows the tanning time in minutes
and seconds.
re 5: An attached coin box or external timer-controller
can be activated via the start/stop key. This
"remote-start" initializes the tanning process
immediately, assuming the coin box supports
this feature.
During the time allotted by the external controller,
the lamps can be turned on and off by pressing
this key.

From the console, the chosen options are sent to the
control unit on the electrical plug-in module in the base.
The control unit circuitry contains all necessary functions
expected in a commercial, high-performance tanning
system. The circuitry is designed for fail-safe, low-
maintenance operation. For example, should there be
a failure in the control board, the unit can still be operated
from an external timer-control, since the tanning system
functions are controlled by electromechanical operating
elements. Thus, a shutdown of the unit can be
prevented.
