By the strake you recognize a formed groove by the
front long side.
Into this groove you put the front base screen with the
shorter long side. At the upper long side the base
screen "is slid" into a groove in the front side member.
For this you press successively at several places, like
in Fig. 7 shown, the base screen somewhat to the rear.
Here the base screen slides itself in such a way
somewhat to curve and into the upper groove.
ABB. 9
For the assembly of the canopy it is helpful if you lay
pieces of packing foam out of the carton, as shown in
fig. 8, onto the base.
When you open the carton with the canopy you will
recognise on one of the long sides of the canopy two
soldered-on prongs, this side is the rear side and
has to face (during the ongoing assembly) to the
rear toward the tripod legs, which point upwards.
Now put down the canopy, as previously explained,
with the front part on to the styropor pieces. While your
offsider is holding the rear part of the canopy, you
fasten the splicing plates of the canopy on to the tripod
legs, which point upwards. Use from the assembly kit
one each of the Allen-key M 8 x 30, fanlike washer A
8,4; washer A 8,4 und distance case © 12 x © 8,2 x 7,5.
Stick the three latter pieces in the same sequence on
to the screw and screw the splicing plates of the
canopy onto the tripod legs. By doing this the distance
case will insert into the large sinking of the splicing
plate and establish its laying point. Screw together
both splicing plates in that manner and thoroughly
tighten the screws.

Mounting the Gas Spring
On each gas spring included in the package, a securing
clip can be seen. These securing clips have to be taken
off, as shown in Fig. 10. The gas springs are to be
mounted on the ball-joints on both the canopy and
bench. Hold the gas spring, as shown in Fig. 11 and 12,
by placing over and pressing the ball-joint connector
onto the ball-joint. Test the installation by moving the
canopy up and down to check for easy movement.
