8.3 Cleaning

z Do not submerge in liquid

– liquid must not enter the

sockets!

To clean:

z wipe with a disposable

tissue.

z do not use cleaning agents

containing alcohol or solvents.

8.4 Changing batteries

If the battery symbol on the display indicates "empty", change the

batteries.

1. Gently press the lock on the

battery cov

and remove the cover.

2. Remove used batteries and

insert new ones

– consider

correct polarity.

3. Close the battery cover.

Required batteries:

2 x 1.5 V alkaline cells (Mignon, LR6, AA)

rechargeable battery 2*1.2 V NiMH

z For continuity of use it is recommended always to have replace-

ment batteries available.

8.5 Calibration

z Only by authorised personnel.

z Calibration recommended every 6 months.

z in sub-menu item "Last cal. date" the calibration date last entered

can be viewed.
