Tools required: 10mm spanner.
To make this appliance exempt from the controls that
govern smoke control areas the air slider must be
modified. This operation can easily be carried out by
lying the appliance on its back or from underneath, using
a mirror to help if necessary.
1 Pull the air control slider fully out to open.
2 Remove the 2 retaining nuts securing the air control
slider to the underside of appliance. Support the air
control slider as it drops down and remove.

3 Place the Smoke Control bracket on top of the air
control slider. The fold should face downwards.

4 Refit the air control slider to the underside of the
appliance and secure with the 2 retaining nuts pre-
viously removed.
Ensure that the Smoke Control bracket is
between the air control slider and the appliance,
with the fold facing down.

The Smoke Control bracket will now restrict the
movement of the air control slider in order to
comply with Smoke Control Regulations.
