Calibration
You need to calibrate the compass on your device before using the Point
the way application and the compass.
1. Move away from any interference such as steel-frame buildings,
electric appliances, computer equipment or anything being
magnetic.
2. Wave your phone in a figure 8 pattern.
1. Press Menu Point the way Point the way.
2. Follow the on screen instructions.
3. Select Set this position to set your current position.
• Keep the suggested name or enter a new name for the position,
see Enter text
, p.5. Delete with Clear.
• Confirm with OK.
4. Select Search address to search for an address.
• Enter an address, see Enter text
, p.5. Delete with Clear.
• Confirm with OK.
5. Select a previously stored address, then Options:
• Point the way to define new position.
• Rename to edit the name of the position, then press Save.
• Send position to send as text message.
• Delete position to delete position.
• Details to view details.
• Information to view information.
