Operation
Skype contacts
First create Skype contacts in Skype by following the instructions at
www.skype.com/help/guides/. By specifying a Speed-Dial number (right click on
contact + Set Speed-Dial.) it will be possible to make calls using the number buttons.
Speed-Dial numbers can be between 01 and 99.
Making a call with Skype contacts
1. Press .
2. Scroll through the entries using

. Or you can do a quick search of Skype
contacts by pressing the corresponding number key once or several times to locate
the rst letter. It also is possible to dial an abbreviated or SkypeOut number (see
below) directly using the keypad.
3. Press

, and the number will be dialled.
4. Press

to terminate the call.
SkypeOut
SkypeOut must be activated in order for you to call ordinary telephone numbers. You
do this by buying SkypeOut credit from
www.skype.com.
Use the number buttons to dial the number. To make a SkypeOut call you enter the
number in the following way (local calls as well): + > country code > number. You can
enter 00 or 011 before the country code.
Example (using the “44”country code for UK calls.):
+44123456789
00 44 123 456 789
011 44 123 456 789
To dial a +, use either + or press 0 on the keypad twice.
You can create SkypeOut contacts by clicking on Add contact in Skype and entering
a number. It is possible to specify a Speed-Dial number for SkypeOut contacts.
Please note!
The current version of Skype does not allow emergency calls (e.g.112). If you need to make an emergency
call you should use a land line or a mobile phone.
Receiving a call
1. Wait for ring signal. Answer call with
O
.
2. Press

to terminate the call.
Call Back
The call back function makes it simple to call back the most recent outgoing/incoming/
missed calls.

to show list of outgoing/incoming/missed calls, scroll to desired
number/contact with

, and the number/contact will be dialled.
