STEP 6: Using a pick or at-blade
screwdriver, disconnect the window
motor connector from the
window lift motor.
STEP 7: Using either painter’s tape, a wedge, or a saddle cup assembly, attach to the
window glass to keep the glass stationary. Failure to do so could result in glass breakage.
STEP 8: Using a ¼” drill bit and a
3/8” drill, drill out the center of the
rivets attaching the window
regulator to the door. In some cases
you can use a punch to drive the
center of the rivet out so that you
can have more surface area for the
drill bit to stay centered on.
