Removal and Installation
1. Disconnect the battery (A) terminal.
2. Disconnect the alternator “B” terminal and then
the connector (A). Loosen the clip (B).
3. Loosen the alternator tension adjusting bolt (A)
and the alternator fixing bolt (B).
4. Remove the belt by pressing inward the alternator.
5. Remove the alternator brocket.
6. Loosen the mounting and remove the alternator
assembly.
7. Installation is reverse order of removal.
Disassembly
1. After removing the mounting nuts (B), remove the
generator cover (A) using a screwdriver.
2. Loosen 3 mounting bolts (A) and disconnect the
brush holder assembly (B).
3. Remove the slip ring guide (A).
