before using an electrical appliance, certain basic
precautions should be followed, including the following:
Read all instructions before use.
Make sure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds
with the voltage of your power grid.
Do not use the appliance if the cord, plug or appliance
itself is damaged or if the appliance leaks or has been
dropped. Have the appliance checked and repaired by a

always closed properly during use.
