BEFORE THE FIRST USE

· When using the hot plate for the rst time, smoke may occur. This is normal.

· Always use a pot or pan with a at bottom, to have a good contact with the hot plate.

USE

1. Make sure the temperature knob is turned “MIN” before using the appliance.

2. Make sure there are no foreign object, such as water or food, on the hot plate before

turning it on. Place the pot or pan in the centre of the hotplate.

3. The hot plate has dierent temperature settings, use the low settings (“MIN”-3) for

reheating or simmering. The temperature settings 4 to “MAX” can be use for cooking.

4. Turn the knob on “MIN” after use. The hot plate will remain hot for some time. You can

use this heat to keep food warm during a short periode.

5. Unplug from the mains when the hotplates have cooled down.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

1. Before cleaning the appliance always remove the plug from the socket.

2. Never immerse the appliance in water.

3. You can clean the surface of your hot plate with a damp soft cloth.

4. Don’t use any abrasive cleaners.

5. We recommend to remove spilled food with a damp cloth, when the hot plate is still

warm, but not hot. Be very careful during cleaning, not to burn yourself.

6. Attention : using the appliance without pot or pan, will damage the appliance.
