APPLICATION PROCESS
1. PREPARE
Protect surfaces not intended to be treated. Ensure that walls,
mulch borders and other surfaces are protected as needed.
Ensure proper surface temperature. Ensure ambient air
temperature stays above 32° F until product is dry. If temperature
falls below 32° F, performance of the product may be adversely
affected. NOTE: Maximum product performance is achieved at 50° F
or higher.
A dry surface is best for ensuring proper product adhesion. Avoid
applying the product when rain is forecasted within 24 hours to
prevent product loss.
Use the proper equipment. We recommend a pump style or
battery-type sprayer to properly apply this product.
2. TEST
Perform a small test area (at least 2 sq. ft.) using the product to
ensure suitability and the desired results prior to full application.
Test for application coverage rate. Use the same preparation,
equipment and conditions expected during the entire application.
Due to the wide variety of substrates, preparation methods,
application methods and environments, the customer should test
the product in an inconspicuous spot for penetration and
compatibility prior to full application.
3. APPLY
Do NOT Dilute or alter the product. Shake the DOMINATOR®
Mulch Anchor container prior to use as some settling may have
occurred.
Apply the number of coats of Mulch Anchor as indicated in the
Coverage Chart to your surface. When spraying, use even, broad
strokes to ensure uniform coverage. Apply liberally to the mulch
areas. Under-application will not allow the product to perform
properly.
Take necessary precaution not to apply to any surface not intended
to be treated. Some settling may occur during application. If this
happens, shake the container / sprayer enough to re-suspend the
product and resume application.
Allow sufficient dry times. Mulch Anchor requires air to dry, so we
recommend waiting at least 45 minutes to 1 hour between coats.
4. CLEANUP
Place any unused product back into original container to store for
future use. Any mixture exposed to air will harden in the container.
Clean equipment thoroughly until free of product residue. Product
will stain clothing but can be removed from skin with a mild cleaner.
If the product meets clothing, wash immediately and do not allow
product to dry on clothing.
Store and handle properly. Store in a cool, dry place, but do not let
the product freeze; and dispose of properly if it is allowed to freeze.
Please note: Waste from this product is not hazardous as defined
under the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) 40 CFR
261. Incinerate in approved facility. Do not incinerate closed
container. Dispose of in accordance with Federal, State/Provincial,
and Local regulations regarding pollution.

Black Diamond Coatings, Inc. (BDC) warrants this product to be free of defects
when it is manufactured and shipped. All recommendations, information and
technical data are based on the research of BDC and that of others and are
believed to be accurate and reliable. However, the accuracy and completeness
are not guaranteed because we cannot cover every scenario, including surfaces,
conditions and application methods. Where permitted by law, BDC makes no
other warranties with respect to this product, express or implied, including
without limitation the implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for
particular purpose. User shall test the product on a small inconspicuous area to
ensure desired results are achieved using the same conditions and equipment as
expected during the entire application. User shall rely on his/her own knowledge
and testing to determine the suitability of the product for a particular purpose and
assume all risks and liability in connection thereto. Acceptance and use of this
product absolves BDC from any other liability, from whatever source, including
liability for special, indirect or consequential damages, and the liability of BDC
shall not exceed the price of this product. A proof of purchase will be required for
any claim of a defective product. Replacement of any defective product shall be
the buyer’s sole remedy under this warranty. This warranty may not be modified
or extended by representatives of BDC or its distributors.
