RTX Truck Parking Cooler – Prerequisites Please observe that the following prerequisites must be met before the parking coolers can be installed: The battery capacity available to power the parking cooler must be greater than 170 Ah. To guarantee an optimal operating time, a 225 Ah battery or greater is recommended. The available input voltage for the parking cooler must total between 20 V DC and 30 V DC.
RTX Truck Parking Cooler – Prerequisites The angle of installation area on the roof may not exceed the following values on any one side: RTX 1000: max. 8° RTX 2000: max. 20° Once the parking cooler has been installed, the total vehicle height must not exceed 4 m. Installation of the parking cooler must not result in damage to any components on the vehicle, or impairment of their function. The dimensions of the cooler once installed can be found in figures 1 and 2.
RTX Truck Parking Cooler – Prerequisites Screw the cover frame in the cab from below under the cooler. This requires a specified area of the cab roof to be available (see fig. 3). Please observe that the opening made must also be cut into the roof liner. Please observe fig. 4 when making this opening.

If the vehicle features the E9G optional equipment, then the parking cooler should be connected to this. Connecting it to the fuse box has not been approved by the vehicle manufacturer. Connection to the battery is possible at all times.
