PGE121 Operating the generator
23
Switch the ECO switch (fig. e 1) to "ON" position to use economy control sys-
tem.
Connect an electrical device to either AC power socket (fig. e 3, page 22).
If the generator is overloaded (device draws too much power), or if there is a
short circuit in a connected appliance, the overload LED (fig. e 6, page 22) will
light on.
The power to the connected appliance(s) will shut off, and the ready LED
(fig. e 5, page 22) turns off.
The reset button (fig. e 2, page 22) can be used to reset output of the genera-
tor after overload protection. It is unnecessary to restart engine. Before pushing
the reset button check and correct the problem, such as a short circuit in a con-
nected appliance or wire.
Turn on the electric devices for operation.
The ECO switch (fig. e 1, page 22) must be turned to “OFF” position when using
electric devices that require a large starting current, such as a compressor, pump,
motor or other high electrical loads.
Be sure the total load is within generator rated output and the socket load current is
within socket rated current (10A).
When an attached electrical device is started, the overload LED (fig. e 6, page 22)
may light on. This is normal if the overload LED turns off after a few seconds.
