Recoil start
➤ Pull the starter grip (fig. c 1) slowly until resistance is felt and then pull rapidly.

NOTE
Normally the engine starts within three pulls.
Keep the choke knob in "START" position for 2 pulls.
After second pull, push the choke knob into the “RUN” position for up
to the next 3 pulls.
NOTE
Don't let the starter grip snap back against the generator. Return it gently
to prevent damage to the starter or housing.
