5.1 Energy saving tips
z Choose a well ventilated installation location which is protected against di-
rect sunlight.
z Allow food to cool down first before placing it in the device.
z Do not open the cooling device more often than necessary.
z Do not leave the lid or door open for longer than necessary.
5.2 Using the cooler

Note
Like every cooling device, your cooler must be properly ventilated
so that any heat created can dissipate. Otherwise proper function-
ing cannot be ensured.
➤ Place the cooler on a firm base.
➤ Connect the 12 V connection cable (fig. 2 1, page 3) to the cigarette
lighter or a 12 V socket in your vehicle or …
➤ Connect the 230 V connection cable (fig. 2 2, page 3) to the 220-240 V
AC mains supply.

Note
Close the cooler by pushing down the lid and turning the handle for-
ward.
✓ After a certain period of time, the temperature inside the container will
cool down by up to max. approx. 20 °C.

Caution!
Ensure that the objects placed in the cooler are suitable for cooling/
warming to the selected temperature.
➤ If you wish to switch off the device, pull out the connecting cable.
5.3 Removing the trolley
You can remove the trolley as follows and use the device as a separate
cooler:
➤ Remove the lid.
Position the lid at an angle of approx. 30° and then pull it out of the fas-
tening groove.
