IMPORTANT First make sure that the appliance has not been damaged in transit. If any damage has been incurred, please inform the supplier immediately. Please read these instructions carefully. Keep the instructions in a safe place and make sure that they are retained with the refrigerator when the appliance is transferred to a new location or owner.
Below are several possibilities for building in the refrigerator, whereby the dimensions given are minimum dimensions. If built into an open shelf, fig. 2, it is sufficient for the air duct to be 105 mm deep. This can be achieved by attaching 105 mm spacers to the rear panel of the shelf (not supplied). The entire unit must nevertheless project into the air duct. If built into a wall cupboard, fig.
If the ambient temperature is very high, the cooling capacity decreases. This does not mean that the appliance is defective. USING THE REFRIGERATOR The refrigerator provides sufficient storage space for food, milk, drinks etc. The shelves on the inside of the door (EA 3140) are suitable for bottles, tins and small packets. All models with the exception of EA 3080 are equipped with half-depth cabinet shelves which can be arranged according to preference.
Semi-automatic defrosting Press the defrosting button in the thermostat dial with a toothpick. On no account alter the position of the thermostat but leave it at its usual setting and close the door. When the defrosting process is complete the defrosting button is released and the refrigerator will return to normal operation. Defrosting time is dependent on the thickness of the frost layer and the room temperature.
Remove the two cover caps (3) from the housing and place them in the open hinge holes on the housing. Place the bottom righthand hinge in the top left of the door and the top righthand hinge in the bottom left of the door and hang the door on its hinges in the open cover cap holes in the housing. Secure the hinges and cover caps with the 8 screws. Check that the door closes easily and is sealed properly. Replacing the decorative door panel, Fig.
