Evacuation of automotive A/C systems has to be
done with vacuum pumps designed for the
purpose. Too fast an evacuation by means of over-
dimensioned vacuum pumps will lead to icing of residual
moisture in the air conditioning system and conse-
quently to system malfunctions.
Today‘s automotive A/C systems only have a
maximum volume of 3 litres of air.
Therefore, only 3 litres of air per minute will flow through
the service coupler during the evacuation process. The
vacuum pumps shown below have been exactly
designed to match the specific capacity requirements
of automotive A/C systems.
