Under Status on the navigation bar, select Event Logs to open the event logs view.
6.3 Event log browsing options
Use the event log browsing options to manage the log and filter out different types of
messages.
Table 3: Browsing options and message filters
Label Options Description
Show All - Clears all filters, and shows all messages.
Level All Levels (default) Shows messages of all types.
Info Shows information type messages only.
Warning Shows warning messages only.
Error Shows error messages only.
Category All Categories (default) Shows messages of all categories.
UI Not in use.
System Not in use.
Storage Not in use.
Transport Shows transport errors.
Audio Events related to audio content including encoded
formats.
Video Shows video errors.
File Capture Not in use.
Loudness Not in use.
I/O Events related to physical input and output
interfaces.
Clock Events related to clock and synchronization
mechanism.
Start time Date and time Defines the start date and time of events you want to
track.
End time Date and time Defines the end date and time of events you want to
track.
Clear Events - Clears the event logs only. (The system logs remain
unchanged.)
6.4 Downloading event logs
Archive the event logs available in the Event Logs view to your hard disk, and use them for
further analysis.
