5 Dolby Professional Reference Decoder DP580
administration
The Network and Administration web UI pages of the DP580 provide information and controls
that apply to the entire unit. Use these pages to verify or change settings according to your
decoding requirements.
5.1 Administrative functions
The administrative pages of the DP580 enable control of network and system settings for both
initial setup and subsequent changes in the unit environment.
On the Network page, you can verify or change the network interface status and configuration.
On the Administration page, you can:

Upgrade the system software
•
Reboot the unit
•
Reset the system settings
•
Enable and configure NTP connections
•
Set the system clock
•
Download the system logs
•
Verify system information such as the FPGA and Microblaze versions in use

5.1.1 Checking the system information
From the Admin page of the DP580, you can get complete information about the current
system settings.
About this task
Most system settings are determined at the time of installation and setup. As configurations
change, however, you may need to check the validity or compatibility of the system
information.
