Red for five seconds indicates a video decoder error.
Off indicates that the unit is acquiring an output lock or that the unit is receiving audio
only.
4: Error LED
Red for five seconds indicates an audio or video decoding error. This parallels the behavior
of the matching LEDs on the panel. Check the event logs for specific information.
5: User-control screen
Depending on the source, shows different combinations of information, which can include:
Command interface IP addresses
Media interface IP addresses
Master volume
Source bitstream
Program number and packet identifier (PID)
Codec in use
Channel pair being monitored
Channel configuration and bit or frame rate
6: Navigation keys
Used in configuring the DP580 ports and controlling the front-panel user interface (UI)
loudness display. See

7: Volume control knob (limited functionality)
This control and the master volume control in the decoder UI are currently in use only for
volume control of headphones. See

8: Headphone jack
Available for headphone monitoring of the audio output separately from other speakers.
9: Dim button (nonfunctional)
This button is not currently functional.
10: Over-temperature indicator
Indicates that the unit temperature is higher than the recommended range for safe
operation. If the indicator turns red, ensure that the unit front and rear air vents are not
blocked, and that the ambient room temperature is not excessive.
11: Reset button
Reboots the unit when it is unresponsive, or following a software upgrade.
12: Power button
Powers up the unit at the end of the initial installation, and thereafter for continued use.
13: Two Universal Serial Bus (USB) ports
Used to load a software upgrade image.
