Measuring Loudness
TomeasurefasterthanrealtimeintheAudioSuit eplug‐in:
1. Click
Resettorestartthemeasurements.
2. Click
Log FiletogenerateandsavealogofDolbyMediaMeter2activity.Reviewthe
defaultfilenameandlocation,andmakeanynecessarychanges.
3. Choosethedesiredmeasurementtypes,byright‐clickinginameasurementboxand
choosinganotheroptionfromthecontextmenu.
3.6 File-Naming Conventions That Ensure Automatic File
Selection
DolbyMediaMeter2automaticallyselectssourcefilesetsthatfollowthesenamingrules:
1. AllthechannelIDsusedarestandard.ThechannelIDsarenotcasesensitive.
2. ThechannelIDisseparatedbeforeandafterwitheitheraperiodorunderscore.
3. ThefilenamesforthechannelsareidenticalexceptforchannelID.
4.
Thenumberoffilesmatchesthenumberofchannelsselectedintheclient
Channels
tab.
5. ThefilechannelIDsmatchthechannelIDsselectedintheclient
Channelstab.
6. Filenamesdonotcontaintheampersan d(&)character.

selected.
