equipment.ThisvaluecanbedeterminedbymeasuringtheSPLofpinknoiseatstudio
referencelevelandthenaddingtheamountofdigitalheadroomabovethatlevel.For
example,if85dBequatestoareferencelevelof
–20dBFS;themixinglevelis85+20,or
105 dB.
Room Type
TheRoomTypeparameterdescribestheequalizationusedduringthefinalmixing session
atthestudiooronthedubbingstage.Alargeroomisadubbingstagewiththeindustry
standardXcurveequalization;asmallroomhasflatequalization.Thisparameterallows
anamplifiertobesettothe
sameequalizationasthatheardinthefinalmixing
environment.
