LEDs
2,3,and4indicatethestatusoftheotherthreephysicaldisks.Thesedisksare
configuredasseparatedrivesanddonothaveRAIDbackupcapability.Ifanyofthese
drivesfail,thefaileddrivesmustbereplaced,andany workordersinprogressduringthe
failuremustberestarted.
Ifoneof
thedriveLEDsturnsred,refertoTable 1‐1todeterminewhichphysicaldrive
failed.Typically ,theDP600automaticallyrebuildstheRAIDarraywhenoneoftheRAID
driveshasaproblemorisreplaced(withthepoweron).DuringtheRAIDrebuildprocess,
LED
1blinksinredinhalf‐secondintervals.Whentherebuildprocessiscomplete,LED1
stopsblinking.
Insomeinstan ces(forexample,ifyoureplaceanon‐RAIDdrive),youmustinitiatethe
rebuildprocessmanually,asdescribedinSection 3.1.2.
IfyoureplacebothRAIDdrives,youalsoneedtoreinstalltheDP600software.Insucha
case,followtheinstructionsforacleaninstallation
inSection 3.3.Whenyoureinstallthe
software,thesystemautomaticallysynchronizesthetwoRAIDdrives,re‐creatingthe
originalmirroredRAIDarray(manualrebuildnotrequired).
