9.7 Fastening
Stator
The stator is fastened to one of the two stator ends using screwed
connections. In no case may both ends be screwed on. Depending on the
stator type selected, the stator ends may have different diameters,
simplifying assembly (see Fig. 9-2).
When planning the installation, note the selected output direction of the
power cable as well as the information in the dimension sheets, especially
the number and type of fastening holes,
the torque,
and the depth of thread.

Note:
The necessary screw length depends on the machine
construction.
In no case may both stators ends be screwed on.
The screwed connections must be able to take up both
the force due to the weight of the motor and the forces
acting during operation.
Notice the minimum depth of thread for screwed
connections on stator type MST.
