20.2 Selecting Power Cables
The tables and diagrams shown on the following pages are intended to
support you in selecting the power cables required. The example below
explains how to proceed.
A power cable set, 5.0 m in length, is needed for a MHD093A-024 motor,
Natural 60K operating mode, and an HDS02. drive controller.
Proceed as follows:
1. Select the motor and the operating mode in the cable selection table.
2. “X” identifies the connection cross-section required.
3. Read the size of the power connector and the connection cross-
section from the table header.
4. On the following pages, select the corresponding selection diagram
by connector size and connection cross-section.
5. Select the required power cable set in the diagram. Complete the
selected ordering type IKGxxxx/xxx.x by the desired length.
In the example above, the ordering type IKG4055/xxx.x is taken from the
selection diagram. For ordering, complete the ordering type by the desired
length.
