Connecting the Stator
You can find notes regarding the electrical and cooling connections of
the stator in chapter 8 Connection Techniques of this documentation.
11.10 Removing the Stator from the Spindle Housing
The stator may have to be removed if, for example:
a winding has burned out or
the PTC resistors are defective.
DANGER
Electrocution
due to live parts!
Before removing the stator, you absolutely must
switch the power for the electrical system off and
ensure that it cannot be accidentally switched on
again!
Proceed as follows:
1. Detach the electrical connections:
Power connector
PTC resistor connection
Grounding cable
2. Loosen the cooling connections.
3. Loosen and remove the stator fastening screws.
4. Using appropriate tools, slowly pull out the end plate.
5. Screw transportation rings into the appropriate holes.
Note: Avoid pulling or pushing the cable loom during removal to
avoid damaging the stator!
The transport and handling regulations absolutely must be
observed!
