The tempo is stored along with each Pattern, and is
restored when a pattern is recalled from memory. This
can be sometimes annoying, especially in the case of
linked patterns (1~2, 1~2~3~4, and Song-Modes),
where the tempo will change successively according to
each pattern recalled. If the Master-Tempo function is
activated, the Pattern related tempo will not be
accounted anymore; the currently set tempo will be
used instead.

The buttons (17)~(24) and their related functions
can be activated from any editing situation.
Displaying & editing the tempo will simply
overwrite the current message in the display.

(25) Rotary Encoder. To change the values: clockwise
= increment,
counterclockwise = decrement.
7.4 Menus in detail
7.4.1 Step left/Decrement
One step to the left, specifies a precise step - used
additionally in many menus. i.e. decrease a value.
7.4.2 Step right/Increment
Same as above but to the right and value increase.
7.4.3 MIDI Channel/MIDI Event

Pressing this button may bring the following message:
No Trk. Selected

As stated previously, the track(s) you want to modify
must be specified prior to any editing.

You should thus press the Select button of the track(s)
you want to edit
If for example, you press the Track select button of track
2, you will get the following message in the display:
Track >_2_____m<
(“m” relates to the Mastertrack, which, if active, is
indicated by a capital “M” in the display)

Press now, once more, the button (3) of the menu:
Track >_2_____m<
MidiChannel:010
If for example, the channel is set to 10 (usually assigned
to drums), this value can be changed to any other in the
range 1~16, with the rotary encoder.
If you press the menu button (3) once again, you will see:
Track >_2_____m<
MidiEvent:NoteEv
In the present case, the type of MIDI event selected for
this track is Note-Event.

With the rotary encoder the Setting can go through the
following list:

“NoteEv” - Note-Event (Note-On + Note-Off)

“PolyAft” - Polyphonic-Aftertouch

“Contrl” - Controller

“MonAft” - Monophonic-Aftertouch

“PitchB” - Pitch-Bend
