Air conditioning

 To switch off: press the °
switch for normal mode.
The indicator lamp in the switch goes
out.
Air distribution control
Heating

Set temperature selector control 1
(
 page 218) as required, but do not
turn the control below the middle po-
sition.
 Set airflow control 2 ( page 218)
as required, but do not turn the con-
trol below the second speed.
 Set the air distribution control as
shown.
 Close the center air vents.
 Close the air vents.
 Open the side air vents half-way and
direct them at the side windows.
Ventilation/cooling
This setting rapidly ventilates/cools the
vehicle interior.
 Turn temperature selector control
1 ( page 218) to the lowest set-
ting (maximum cooling).
 Set airflow control 2 ( page 218)
as required, but do not turn the con-
trol below the second speed.
 Set air distribution control 5
