6.1 Modifications to Brake
System
Caution! The Sprinter, "as delivered" by DCMC and DCV
complies with all applicable national standards, including
but not limited to FMVSS/CMVSS 105/106/116.
Any alteration of the brake system may void this
certification and cause a safety hazard. Recertification
may be necessary! Please contact DCMC and DCV’s
designee, DaimlerChrysler Manufacturing International
LLC Engineering and Compliance Department for
additional information.
Any alterations of the Sprinter´s brake system may
affect the vehicle´s ability to stop. Serious injury or
death may be the result!
