Before Using the Terminal
Note
You cannot charge the battery by connecting the
desktop holder to a PC.
If you connect the microUSB cable to the USB jack of
the desktop holder for charging, the terminal is
powered on and notification LED lights although the
operations are not available. Be careful not to
connect with the microUSB cable in a place where
the use is prohibited such as in a airplane or hospital.
Check the connecting direction to connect correctly.
Wrong connection may cause damage.
Use the compatible AC adapter for charging.
If you use a charger other than the
compatible AC adapter, charging may not be
available or operations may not be
performed correctly (P.239).
When using AC Adapter 03 (optional) for
charging, do the following procedures.

Open the microUSB jack cover and
insert the microUSB plug of the
microUSB cable straight into the
microUSB jack of the terminal,
with the USB symbol ( ) facing
up.

Insert a USB plug of microUSB
cable into the USB jack of the AC
adapter and insert the plug of the
AC adapter into the power outlet.
Notification LED lights on the terminal.
For notification LED for charging, see
"Notification LED" (P.44).

When the charging is complete,
remove the plug of the AC adapter
from the power outlet.

Remove the microUSB plug of the
microUSB cable from the terminal.
