Not Closest: represents the set of edge pairs not closest to the ideal width within the
detection scanning range.
All: represents all edge pairs within the detection scanning range.
Find Direction: it includes top to bottom and left to right.
Min. Edge Score: find the minimum score of the edge. The edge with a score lower than
the minimum score will be filtered out.
Max. Result Number: maximum number of searching
Ideal Spacing: The closer the spacing between edge pairs is to this value, the better, which
is used to filter the sorting results
Sort Method: score ascending, score descending, direction forward and direction reverse.
The results are sorted according to the selected type.
Output Result
Measured Width: pixel width of spacing detection
Edge Point Coordinates X/Y: start and end coordinates of edges
Score: The score calculation method in spacing detection is completely consistent with
caliper tool. However, the "scoring function curve" is set internally and is not open to the outside
world.
Edge Polarity: 1 means from black to white, 2 means from white to black.
Edge Status: 0 means not locating to edge, 1 means located.
Histogram
The tool of histogram is used to count pixel quantity, average value, min. value, max. value, peak
value, standard deviation and contrast of gray in a target area. It also generates a gray histogram,
which clearly shows the distribution of pixel points under each gray value, as shown below.
