- Specific filtering method: if the minimum overlap rate is set to 50, and the
blob area inside the ROI is less than 50% of its overall area, it will be filtered
in the result, and the filtered Blob will not be displayed in the result.
- This parameter can be set to 100 if it is pasted with ROI, that is, it is not
regarded as the target drawing
Running Result
• Total Area: sum of all Blob areas in the obtained results.
• Area: the area of a Blob in the obtained results.
• Perimeter: number of edge pixels
• Barycenter X/Y: X/Y coordination of Blob barycenter
• Angle: angle of Blob to Blob minimum circumscribed rectangle
• Major/ Minor Axis: major axis / minor axis of minimum circumscribed rectangle
• Roundness / Rectangularity: Blob area divided by Blob minimum circumscribed circle
area / Blob area divided by Blob minimum circumscribed rectangle area.
NOTICE
The Blob analysis module supports the use of multiple ROIs, but when two ROIs are
connected, the two ROIs will be regarded as one ROI. Therefore, if each ROI needs to
be processed separately, it needs to be implemented circularly.
Caliper
The caliper is a visual tool that measures the width of a target object, edge location, the location of
the feature or edge pair, and the distance between edge pairs. Unlike other visual tools, the caliper
requires the user to confirm the approximate area of the measurement or position, and the target
object or edge feature. The caliper tool can position edge or edge pair via different edge modes. The
basic parameters and result display have been explained in Tool Application. This section mainly
describes the running parameters.
