Using Drag and Drop Mode with Duplex Prints Hot Folder Print User Guide
2. Copy an image into a folder and it is automatically sent to the printer. The name of the folder indicates the print size.
Note
While the print mode is called “drag and drop” it is suggested that you copy and paste your
images into the appropriate print size folder. By dragging and dropping your images, you are
performing a Windows cut and paste action that removes your images from the original location.
Because of the Windows cut and paste action, archive images is always turned ON when drag
and drop mode is active.
3. You can select from the following sizes:
3.5 x 5”
4 x 6”
5 x 7”
6 x 8”
6 x 9”
8 x 10”
8 x 12”
Using Drag and Drop Mode with Duplex Prints
It is recommended that you use image import mode when printing duplex prints to avoid any issues with print ordering. If
you are printing duplex, or double sided, images, when using drag and drop mode you must use specific naming
conventions to specify the order of the prints within the print job. For more information, see “Duplex Printing Specifications”
on page 33.
