About DCF
DCF (Design rule for Camera File system) are standards
regulated by the Japan Electronics and Information
Technology Industries Association (JEITA) mainly to
promote environments that allow users to easily manage
image files between digital still cameras and other related
devices. However, DCF standards do not guarantee
complete compatibility between products.
