Notes on Storage Media
This unit supports SD cards and USB memory devices. We
recommend backing up any image data stored on media
before using it with the unit.
Be aware that Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. is not liable
for any damage to storage media or loss of data that occurs
while using this unit.
SD cards
The parts of an SD card are shown below.
For details, either visit the SD Association Web site or
refer to the operating instructions accompanying your
card.

This unit does not support SDXC.
When using SD cards and wireless LAN SD cards with the
unit, you must prepare the cards so that data can be written
to them.
Set the write-protect switch on a card to the write-enable
position as illustrated. If you use a write-protected card
with the unit, an error message will appear.

accompanying your card.
Notes on using SD cards
Be sure to read the operating instructions accompanying
your memory card before using it.
Do not format the supplied wireless LAN SD cards.
Do not attempt to use any memory card that is not
specified for use with this unit. Doing so could damage
this unit.
Do not strike, bend, or drop the memory card.
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the memory
card.
Do not get the memory card wet.
Because memory cards are vulnerable to humidity, we
recommend that you avoid using them under humid
conditions.
Avoid storing or using memory cards under the
following conditions:
In hot locations, such as inside a car or outside on a
very hot day.
In direct sunlight.
In humid locations or locations where corrosion occurs
easily.
In locations where the memory card could be exposed
to electrostatic discharge or electronic noise.
Do not touch the contacts on the memory card with your
hands or metallic objects.
Always keep the memory card in its case when carrying
or storing it.
Always make sure that the memory card is oriented
correctly before inserting it in the appropriate slot on the
unit. Inserting a memory card in the wrong direction may
damage the unit and/or memory card and cause
malfunctions.
Do not remove the memory card or turn off the unit
while data is being read or written to the memory card.
Doing so could cause the data that is being recorded to
be deleted or damaged.
USB Memory Devices
Before inserting a USB memory device into the port, make
sure that the top and bottom of the connectors correspond.
For details, refer to the operating instructions
accompanying your USB memory device.
This unit does not support USB memory devices with
security functions.
