Restoring the Default
Settings
You can return the settings on the unit to their factory
default settings.

Press the MENU button.

Press T on the control button to display [SYSTEM]
on the LCD display.

Press X.
[SYSTEM SETTINGS] appears.

Press X.

Press T to display [FACTORY RESET].

Press X.

Press the EXEC button.
All settings return to their factory default conditions.
Even if you restore the default settings, the logo that was
selected last will be printed on subsequent prints. To
disable logo printing, cancel logo printing from the menu
(see page 23).
Updating the Firmware
You can update the unit’s firmware.
For information on the latest firmware, visit the DS-ID400
support site (http://dnpphoto.net/support-e/).

Save the firmware update to an SD card or USB
memory device.

Press the MENU button.

Press T on the control button to display [SYSTEM]
on the LCD display.

Press X.
[SYSTEM SETTINGS] appears.

Press X.

Press T to display [FIRMWARE UPDATE].

Press X.
[INSERT MEMORY CARD] appears.

Insert the SD card or USB memory device on which
the firmware update is saved.

Verify the firmware update version, and press the
EXEC button.
Updating begins, and [NOW UPDATING] appears on
the LCD display.
When updating is finished, the unit restarts.
Do not turn off the unit while updating is in progress.
