Using Expansion SD Cards
Chapter 3 Settings
For details on the layouts preinstalled on the unit, see
“Layout List” on page 38.
Creating original layouts
You can create layouts using the supplied DS ID Photo
Utility. For details, refer to the Setting Guide and Readme
file for the DS ID Photo Utility stored on the supplied
CD-ROM.
Saving layouts
Save created layouts to the “\DNP\DSID400\IDPhoto”
folder on the expansion SD card.
Selecting added layouts for printing
For details on selecting layouts, see “Selecting the
Layout” on page 18.
Adding Logos
You can include logos in printouts by creating original
logo images and saving them to an expansion SD card.
Creating logo images
Use commercially available image processing software to
create logo images. You must convert the created images
to a format supported by the unit.
For the details on how to create logo images, refer to the
Setting Guide and Readme file for the DS ID Photo Utility
stored on the supplied CD-ROM.
Saving logo images
Save created logo images to the
“\DNP\DSID400\Template” folder on the expansion SD
card.
Printing logos
Before printing, select the logo data stored on the
expansion SD card.

Press the MENU button.

Press T on the control button to display [PRINT
SETTINGS] on the LCD display.

Press X.
[PRINT OFFSET] appears.

Press T to display [LOGO PRINT X34] (for the UPC-
X34 series) or [LOGO PRINT X46] (for the UPC-X46
series).

Press X.
The currently selected logo name or [NONE] appears.

Press S or T to select the logo you want to print, and
press the EXEC button.
If you print photos with a logo selected, the logo will be
included on the prints.
To disable logo printing
Select [NONE] in step 6 above, and press the EXEC
button to disable logo printing.
Memo
