Configuring Settings for
Printing with Wireless
LAN SD Cards
This function is only available on models that are supplied
with wireless LAN SD cards.
Supported Wireless LAN SD Cards
This unit supports the following SD card with embedded
wireless LAN functionality.
• Toshiba FlashAir™
FlashAir is a trademark of Toshiba Corporation.
• Use only the wireless LAN SD cards supplied with the
unit.
• Do not format the supplied wireless LAN SD cards.
About the Supplied Wireless LAN SD
Cards
Two wireless LAN SD cards, one for a digital camera and
one for the printer, are supplied with the unit. The supplied
cards come preconfigured for use with the unit and the
digital camera and can be used immediately after inserting
them in their respective SD card slots.
The cards for the digital camera and printer are labeled “C”
and “P” respectively. If the card for the digital camera is
inserted in the printer, or the card for the printer is inserted
in the digital camera, proper connection will not be
possible.
Configuring the Wireless LAN SD
Card
If you unintentionally formatted the supplied wireless
LAN SD cards or are using new wireless LAN SD cards,
perform the following to configure the cards.
The supplied wireless LAN SD cards are preconfigured at
the factory. Perform the following steps for these cards
only if you unintentionally formatted them.
Configuring a card for use with the digital
camera
1 Insert the wireless LAN SD card into the SD card slot
on the unit.
2 Press the MENU button.
3 Press T on the control button to display [WIRELESS
SETTINGS] on the LCD display.
4 Press X.
[WIRELESS LAN SD] appears.
5 Press X.
[SSID] appears.
6 Press T to display [SETUP CAMERA CARD].
7 Press X.
[SETUP CARD] appears.
8 Press the EXEC button.
The card for use with the digital camera is configured.
Insert the configured SD card into a digital camera to
enable operation.
Configuring a card for use with the printer
1 Insert the wireless LAN SD card into the SD card slot
on the unit.
2 Press the MENU button.
3 Press T on the control button to display [WIRELESS
SETTINGS] on the LCD display.
4 Press X.
[WIRELESS LAN SD] appears.
5 Press X.
[SSID] appears.
6 Press T to display [SETUP PRINTER CARD].
7 Press X.
[SETUP CARD] appears.
8 Press the EXEC button.
The card for use with the printer is configured.
