2.3.8 – Setting the FTP Server
In most instances, this will never need to be modified. However, there may be a
time when the DMX MUSIC server’s IP address will change. In this case, the DMM
may need to have the new IP address programmed from the front panel.
I
ncorrect modifications to the FTP server IP
address will render the DMM unable to connect
and download music, messaging, and
configuration updates. Please use with caution!
Step 1 From the Set Configuration menu press the NAVIGATION DOWN button
until the “Set FTP Server” option is highlighted.
Step 2 Press the * button to enter the FTP Server IP edit screen:
FTP Server IP:
###.###.###.###
Hit * to set IP
Step 3 Use the NAVIGATION UP and DOWN to select new IP numbers, and the
NAVIGATION LEFT and RIGHT to move to the next number. Press the *
button to set the IP address. Once the IP address has been changed, a
Test Connection is recommended. Please refer to Section 2.4.2, Test Net
Connection for instructions.
2.3.9 – Setting the IP Type (DHCP and Static IP Only)
In most cases, this will never need to be changed. However, if the DMM is
connected to a corporate network, this menu may be needed to change from a Static
IP address to a DHCP IP address or vice versa, per your Corporate Network
Administrator or DMX MUSIC.
