9. Clean the artery by removing any remaining adipose or connective tissue.
Gently pull away adipose or connective tissue to make the connective tissue
membrane become visible. Cut the membrane to remove the tissue.
10. Cut the distal end of the artery section to be investigated. Afterwards cut the
proximal end while ensuring that the vessel segment has the correct length
(Fig. 7.5A-C).
