The Intransa VideoAppliance™ VA100st Storage Appliance is
designed specically for the demands of physical security and
industrial video users. Customers today leverage VA100st
integrated with other Intransa VideoAppliance™ platforms for
complete digital IP solutions, others with major-brand DVRs as
an analog CCTV upgrade, or with commodity application servers.
All deliver cost savings and increased reliability and capacity
over commodity and analog solutions for demanding security
and surveillance needs.

ple rack mount storage appliance choice for video surveillance
operations. Intransa VideoAppliance™ systems are designed
exclusively for non-stop, 7x24x365 video workloads, unlike
commodity storage intended for use with email, word processing

Available Intransa Video Data Management &
Retention™ (VDMR) Technology
The VA100st leverages Intransa’s patented Video Data
Management & Retention™ (VDMR) technology for the most
advanced physical security solutions available today.
VDMR includes the Video Storage Administrator (VSA)
management interface, which simplies setup and ongoing
operation, and Video Surveillance Optimization (VSOP) which
delivers improved video recording and playback performance
over commodity storage solutions.
Select From Variety of Features & Performance
A single 1U rack mountable VA100st comes equipped with
either 2, 4 or 8TB of raw recording capacity.
Increase recording capacity by adding a 2U rack mountable VA
Expander module. The VA Expander provides an additional 6 to
24TB of raw recording space, for a system total of up to 32TB.
Simply plug in the VA Expander and start recording.
Intransa VideoAppliance™ platforms can be used to provide
reliable, high performance recording capacity for new, all-IP
solutions, for existing CCTV analog environments as a DVR
upgrade, with commodity hardware, and a variety of vendor-
specic security and network hardware.
