18 Type of Number
Use this option to define the ISDN
numbering plan to allow the calling
party information to be passed to some
telcos.
Within QSIG networks, a private num-
ber plan may be used and announced
in the Called Party Number and Call-
ing Party Number information ele-
ments by the Number Plan Indicator 9
(binary 1001). This can be set in Pro-
grams 10-03-18 and 10-03-19.
0 = Unknown
1 = International number
2 = National number
3 = Network Specific number
4 = Subscriber number
5 = Abbreviated number

Set the type of information passed to
some telcos.
Within QSIG networks, a private num-

1 = ISDN numbering plan
2 = Data numbering plan
3 = Telex numbering plan
4 = National standard numbering plan

22 QSIG Operation Mode
If the UX5000 is attached to a QSIG
network, enable this option. The ISDN
lines will be marked in the UX5000
data by a new flag to indicate the
length of the call reference value.
