99-02 : Nondisclosure Options Firmware Download
Description
Use Program 99-02 : Nondisclosure Options Firmware Download to downgrade a particular
blade’s rmware.
This option is only available through terminal programming. It is only recommended to downgrade
rmware when advised by NEC’s Technical Service department.
In order to downgrade a blade’s rmware, you will need to copy a older version of rmware to the
“Firmware” directory onto the USB which will be inserted into the CCPU.
Note: Do not insert the USB ash drive into the CCPU with the power on as certain
versions may cause the CCPU to reset.
To determine the correct le to move to the USB ash drive, refer to the following format:
First 2 digits = Last 2 characters of the blade ID
Next 2 digits = Firmware version (for example “12” equals “version 1.2”
Last 2 digits = Order of le and total number of numbers (for example, 16 means that the le
is the rst le and the rmware is divided into 6 les)
If a rmware le consists of several les, each le will be copied automatically from
the USB. If there are multiple les for a blade, be sure to copy all the blade rmware les
to the USB ash drive.
