2 | Snowplow Winch Strap Replacement Guide
Locate the hex screw on the winch spool

Remove the screw using an allen key

and
set aside. Do not lose the screw, as you will
need it to reinstall your new winch strap.
Use the tool that was provided in your plow
kit

to begin removing the winch pin (you
may be able to use needle nose pliers as
well)
Screw in the provided tool

and pull the pin

free from the winch. Once removed, you
will be able to pull the strap away freely.
NOTE: When re-installing the new winch
strap, make sure the pin is inserted the
correct way.
The hole in the pin

should always align
with the hex screw

so that you can lock
the winch pin in place.
