Flight Modes DJI Mavic 3 has three flight modes, plus a fourth flight mode that the aircraft switches to in certain scenarios. Front LED Front LED Aircraft Status Indicator Aircraft Status Indicator When the aircraft is powered on but the motors are not running, the front LEDs glow solid red to display the orientation of the aircraft. When the aircraft is powered on but the motors are not running, the aircraft status indicators display the status of the flight control system.

There are three types of RTH: Smart RTH, Low Battery RTH, and Failsafe RTH. The aircraft automatically flies back to the Home Point and lands when Smart RTH is initiated, the aircraft enters Low Battery RTH, or the video link signal is lost during flight.
