1. Flight Environment
• Fly the aircraft in open areas away from crowds and buildings.
• DO NOT fly the aircraft in severe weather conditions, including strong winds (speeds
exceeding 14 m/s), sandstorms, snow, rain, smog, hail, lightning, tornadoes, or
hurricanes. Make sure to follow the prompts in DJI Pilot 2 to return to home and land
as soon as possible if warned about strong winds.
• DO NOT fly the aircraft higher than 3,800 m (12,467 ft) above sea level when using
the folded quick-release propellers, or higher than 7,000 m (22,965 ft) above sea
level when using the folded quick-release propellers for high altitude. *
• DO NOT fly the aircraft in environments where the temperature is below -20° C (-4° F)
or above 40° C (104° F).
• DO NOT take off from moving objects such as cars and ships.
• DO NOT fly close to reflective surfaces such as water or snow. Otherwise, the
vision system may not work properly.
• Fly the aircraft in environments with good lighting and visibility when the GNSS
signal is weak (e.g. in-house flying). The vision systems may not work properly in
poor light conditions.
• DO NOT fly the aircraft near areas with magnetic or radio interference, such as
high-voltage power lines, large-scale power transmission stations, radar stations,
mobile base stations, broadcasting towers, Wi-Fi hotspots, routers, and Bluetooth
devices. Flying in such areas with too much interference may lead to abnormal
aircraft behavior. Return to home as soon as possible and land the aircraft if
prompted to do so in DJI Pilot 2.
* Measured in a gentle breeze with the gimbal camera and lens installed on the
aircraft. The value provided should be used for reference only.

signal.
2. Safe Flight Operation
• Make sure you are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or anesthesia
or suffering from dizziness, fatigue, nausea, or any other physical or mental
conditions that could impair your ability to operate the aircraft safely.
• The connection parts (including the gimbal damper) between the aircraft body
and the gimbal camera are delicate. Handle with care. If the gimbal damper is
damaged or falls off, contact DJI Support for assistance.
• Make sure the gimbal lock is rotated to the locked position by aligning the lock
icon with the red dot on the aircraft. It is recommended to rotate the gimbal lock
counterclockwise to ensure the camera gimbal is securely mounted. Make sure
the lens is mounted securely and the lens locking lever is rotated to the locked
position.
• Stay away from the transforming aircraft arms to avoid injury.
• DO NOT put your hand or fingers where a pinching warning label is applied.
• If the aircraft transformation mechanism isn’t working properly, DO NOT force
it to take off. If the aircraft cannot successfully transform during flight, try a few
more times. DO NOT try to fetch the flying aircraft by hand.
• Stay away from spinning propellers and motors to avoid injury.
• Maintain visual line of sight (VLOS) of the aircraft at all times to ensure flight
safety.
• Make sure to follow the prompts in DJI Pilot 2 to return to home and land as soon
as possible if warned about strong winds, compass calibration, motor overloaded,
or motor overheating.
• Make sure that the aircraft has transformed to landing mode before landing.
DO NOT transform the aircraft in ATTI mode. Otherwise, the aircraft may lose
balance and drift sideways.
• DO NOT attempt to catch the aircraft or hold the landing gear when the aircraft is
landing. Otherwise, it may interfere with the vision systems and cause injury.
• Wait for the propellers to completely stop spinning after landing, then power off
the aircraft and the remote controller. DO NOT touch the surface of the motor to
avoid injury.
• If the aircraft accidentally falls into water, DO NOT power on the aircraft
immediately after picking it up. Powering on an aircraft that has fallen into water
may cause permanent component damage.
• Stop using the aircraft if it does not work properly. DO NOT use an aircraft that
has been involved in a collision. Contact DJI Support or a DJI authorized dealer for
assistance.
• Keep the aircraft away from people and animals at a safe distance when updating
firmware, calibrating systems, or setting up parameters.
• Make sure the gimbal camera and other payloads have been removed before
transforming the aircraft to travel mode. Place the aircraft on a flat surface
before switching between the travel mode and the landing mode to avoid
scratching the downward vision system and affecting the vision positioning
capability.
• Only use genuine DJI parts or DJI authorized parts. Unauthorized parts may cause
system malfunctions and compromise fight safety.
• DO NOT modify or alter the aircraft and its components or parts. Unauthorized
modification may cause malfunctions and compromise safety leading to flight
accidents.
•
forced to land automatically due to the critical low battery level. The user is unable
to cancel the landing. If the aircraft loses power and control during flight, it may
cause serious damage to the aircraft, other property, people, and animals.
•
protection function, information provided by DJI Pilot 2, and other system
environmental conditions, and the aircraft may not automatically sense the
environment, and maintain control of the aircraft.
3. Battery Safety Notice
Usage
• DO NOT allow liquid to come into contact with the battery. DO NOT leave battery
covered in moisture or out in the rain. DO NOT drop the battery into water.
Otherwise, an explosion or fire may occur.
• DO NOT use non-DJI batteries.
• DO NOT use swollen, leaking, or damaged batteries. In such situations, contact
DJI or a DJI authorized dealer.
• DO NOT use the battery in strong electrostatic or electromagnetic environments.
Failure to do so may result in a serious malfunction of the battery and aircraft.
• DO NOT disassemble or pierce the battery in any way. Otherwise, the battery
may leak, catch fire, or explode.
• The electrolytes in the battery are highly corrosive. If any electrolytes come into
contact with your skin or eyes, immediately wash the affected area with water
and seek medical support.
• DO NOT use a battery if it is involved in a crash or heavy impact.
• If the battery falls into water with the aircraft during flight, take it out
immediately and place it in a safe and open area. Stay away from the battery
until it is completely dry. DO NOT use the battery again. Dispose of the battery
according to the local regulations.
• The battery should be used in an environment of -20° to 40° C (-4° to 104° F)
while the ideal environment is 25° to 35° C (77° to 95° F). Using the battery in an
environment above 35° C (95° F) or below 20° C (68° F) may shorten the battery
life and even affect battery performance. Using or storing the battery in an
environment above 40° C (104° F) may cause battery swelling, which may lead to
a fire or even an explosion.
• If the battery catches fire, use sand or a dry powder fire extinguisher to put out
the fire.
• DO NOT place the battery directly on any conductive surface such as a metal
table. DO NOT short-circuit the battery.
•
•
the battery may over-discharge and cause irreparable damage to the battery cell.
Charging the Battery
• Use the provided DJI charging device. DJI does not take any responsibility for
damage caused by using a non-DJI charging device that does not meet the
specified requirements.
• DO NOT charge the batteries near flammable materials, objects, or flammable
surfaces such as carpets or wood. DO NOT move the charging device during
charging. DO NOT leave the batteries unattended during charging.
• DO NOT charge the battery immediately after flight because the temperature
of the battery may be too high. Wait for the battery to cool down to room
temperature before charging again. Charging the battery at a temperature of 18°
to 35° C (64° to 95° F) can extend the battery life significantly.
• It is recommended to label the two batteries as a pair before use. Charge and
discharge the two batteries in a pair together to optimize flight performance and
•
Storage and Transportation
• Keep the batteries out of the reach of children.
• DO NOT store the battery in environments with a temperature higher than 60° C
(140° F) .
• DO NOT leave the battery near heat sources such as a furnace or heater, under
direct sunlight, or inside a vehicle in hot weather. The ideal battery storage
temperature is between 20° to 30° C (68° to 86° F).
